Dean of the CUFE Business School Is Invited to Lead a Delegation to Attend the AMBA Global Annual Conference

From May 13 to 15, 2024, Professor Lin Song, dean of the Business School of the Central University of Finance and Economics and director of the MBA Education Center, was invited to lead a delegation to attend the AMBA (The Association of MBAs) Global Annual Conference in Hungary. Professor Xiao Tusheng, deputy dean of the Graduate School, Professor Zhu Fei, deputy director of the MBA Education Center and deputy dean of the Business School, and Dong Shuo, a member of the AMBA re-accreditation team, attended the meeting. The conference brought together business school leaders, scholars and industry experts from around the world to discuss the latest trends and development directions of management education.

The three-day conference covered 16 important topics, involving reputation management, technology and innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, leadership development and other aspects of business schools. During the conference, experts and scholars from all over the world shared their latest research results and practical experience in their respective fields through keynote speeches, group discussions and other forms.

At the Conference on the morning of May 14, Dean Lin Song introduced the characteristics of the MBA program of the CUFE Business School to the attending MBA schools. He pointed out that, based on its differentiated advantages in finance and economics, the CUFE Business School had created an integrated practical training model of "industry + business" to cultivate cross-border “Digital Intelligence + Finance” π-type talents.

AMBA international accreditation is an important milestone in the internationalization of our university’s business education. As a core part of the CUFE Business School's development strategy, AMBA international accreditation plays a key role in enhancing the quality of education and the international influence. The visit further expanded the international cooperation channels of our business education programs, built a solid bridge for international education practice, promoted the cooperation between our university and the world's top business schools, enhanced the visibility and attractiveness of our university in the international market, and further strengthened our ties with international accreditation agencies such as AMBA, laying a solid foundation for future re-accreditation work.
