Lan Minghui, a Doctoral Student from Our School, Was Honored with the Title of “Longma Academic Star” for Graduate Students in 2024
Recently, in the "Longma Academic Star" review for graduate students in 2024 organized by the Graduate School of the Central University of Finance and Economics, Lan Minghui, a 2022-grade doctoral student in Technology Economics and Management from our school, was chosen as the "Longma Academic Star” among graduate students in 2024. This is the second consecutive year that a doctoral student from the Business School has been honored with the title of "Longma Academic Star” among graduate students.
Lan Minghui's research areas are corporate finance and low-carbon economy. Under the joint guidance of Professor Zhou Liguo and Associate Professor Zhang Guangli, she has published 6 academic papers in key domestic and international journals such as Economic Theory and Business Management, Auditing Research, Journal of Management Science, and Applied Energy. She hosted the third session of the Central University of Finance and Economics’ Academic New Star Incubation Plan for Graduate Students in Science-Education Integration, and the 2023 Key Topic Support Plan for Doctoral Students at the Business School, and actively participated in multiple national scientific research projects. She has won the first prize in the 22nd "Challenge Cup" Extracurricular Academic Paper Competition for Students of the Central University of Finance and Economics, the second prize in the Business School's Enterprise Management Paper Competition, and the first-class scholarship for doctoral students, etc. As a key member of the team, she participated in the summer practice survey of the "Finance People • World Relief Road" Rural Revitalization Graduate Service Station in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province.
In recent years, the Business School has seized the opportunity of AACSB accreditation to clarify the training objectives and positioning of graduate students, having developed distinctive training programs based on the graduate student training capability system. The School has reformed and innovated the training of academic graduate students, explored the enrollment methods for doctoral classes, conducted projects to enhance the research capabilities of doctoral students, established joint guidance by mentor groups, strengthened the comprehensive management of the graduate training process, and further improved the quality of training for academic graduate students.
