In order to further strengthen the cooperation and exchange between the Business School and the key high schools in Gansu and Shaanxi provinces, broaden the enrollment channels and improve the quality of students, the Business School actively responded to the overall deployment of undergraduate enrollment work of CUFE. In May 2024, the Business School’s teachers went to four cities in Gansu and Shaanxi provinces to carry out the undergraduate enrollment publicity work.
Associate professor ZhangGuangli, a member of the Shaanxi Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group, conducted an enrollment promotion activity at 19:30 on May 13. He provided a comprehensive introduction to the history and situation, discipline construction, talent cultivation, employment status, campus activities and other aspects of CUFE. This allowed candidates and their parents to understand the characteristic specialties, training, employment, and enrollment policies and so on of CUFE, provided reference for candidates' major selection and career planning, and stimulated their interest in applying for the university.
From May 21 to 24, 2024, LiYuexin, leader of the Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group of CUFE and secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, LuJizhou, a member of the Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group of CUFE and an associate professor of the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management of the Business School, and LiZhengchen, a member of the Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group of CUFE and an undergraduate counselor of theBusiness School went toJiayuguanNo. 1 High School,JiayuguanJiugangNo. 3 High School,ZhangyeNo. 2 High School, and WuweiNo. 1 High School in Gansu province successively to conduct undergraduate enrollment promotion work in Gansu Province. The Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Working Group held discussions and exchanges with the leaders and teacher representatives of the four high schools, gained a deeper understanding of the history, situation and development condition of CUFE, and introduced the basic information of CUFE and the enrollment condition in Gansu province to the leaders and teacher representatives of CUFE. The two sides had sufficient discussions and exchanges on strengthening cooperation, improving the effectiveness of enrollment publicity and jointly building a bridge between basic education and higher education. After the discussions, CUFE signed the “Student Source Base Construction Agreement” withJiayuguanNo.1 High School,JiayuguanJiugangNo.3 High School,ZhangyeNo.2 High School andWuweiNo.1 High School, and held the awarding ceremony of “CUFE High-quality Student Source Base”. Among them,ZhangyeNo.2 High School engaged LuJizhou, an associate professor of the CUFE Business School, as the vice president of technology of ZhangyeNo.2 High School, opening a new chapter of cooperation between universities and high schools.

In the enrollment publicity session, LiYuexin, the leader of the Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group and the secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, gave a detailed introduction to the history, situation, disciplinary advantages, talent cultivation system and other aspects of CUFE. He emphasized the outstanding advantages of CUFE, encouraged students to actively apply for CUFE, and urged all students to cherish the time. LuJizhou, a member of the Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group of CUFE and an associate professor of the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management of the Business School, gave a special lecture on the theme of "Entering the Supply Chain", which unveiled the mystery of supply chain for all the students in a humorous way, led them to explore the breadth and depth of the supply chain and discover the role of the supply chain in the national economic development, the improvement of competitiveness of enterprises as well as the convenience of personal life, and stimulated their strong interest in supply chain and economic management disciplines.
In the enrollment consultation session, students actively asked questions after listening to the lecture. LuJizhouand LiZhengchen, members of the Gansu Provincial Enrollment Publicity Group, answered questions about enrollment situation, discipline construction, employment status, specialty setting, campus cultural activities and other aspects from teachers and students. Besides, they provided suggestions on learning methods, future planning and other aspects for students, which helped attending teachers and students have a further understanding of CUFE and stimulated their strong interest in applying for CUFE.
This enrollment promotion event for Gansu and Shaanxi provinces provided candidates from the two provinces with an opportunity to get a closer look at CUFE and achieved good publicity results. In the future, the Business School will continue to implement the deployment of undergraduate enrollment work, make innovations in work forms, improve work effectiveness, and contribute to the enrollment publicity work of CUFE with the strength of the Business School.
