In order to strengthen the cooperation and exchange between the Business School and the high-quality student bases in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, broaden the enrollment channels, improve the quality of students, and expand the social influence of the Business School, the Business School actively responded to the overall deployment of undergraduate enrollment work of CUFE. From November 2023 to July 2024, the Business School carried out a series of enrollment publicity work under the leadership of the Party Committee of the Business School, and successfully completed the university enrollment and counseling work in Gansu and Shaanxi provinces.
1. Group participation, scientific decision-making, and building a professional publicity team
The Party Committee of the Business School has set up an enrollment publicity working group with the Secretary of the Party Committee and the dean of the Business School as dual leaders, and holds party-government meetings regularly to discuss the advancement of undergraduate enrollment work and consider enrollment, cultivation and employment issues together.
The enrollment publicity working group builds a professional team with a diversified structure and reasonable personnel. The members include professors, scholars, full-time teachers, administrative staff, outstanding undergraduate students and alumni and so on. Besides, this team absorbed some students with letters of recommendation for the graduate school this year. At present, the size of this team exceeds 40. The working group has formed a publicity team consisting of the Shaanxi and Gansu propaganda commissioner group, the “LongmaLecture Hall” expert panel, the senior schoolmate aid group, the enrollment hotline operator group, the operations sub-group of the enrollment counseling QQ group, and the publicity material editing and design group. On April 19, 2024, the Business School specially invited ChenYiweifrom the undergraduate enrollment office to conduct a special training for members of the Business School’s enrollment publicity team. On June 19, the Business School held a training meeting on university enrollment work to provide professional training, discipline educationand safety tips for teachers and students involved in university enrollment work and organize members to share and exchange experience, so as to lay a solid foundation for the enrollment work.

In order to further understand the enrollment situation and strengthen the follow-up visits,GengHui, deputy director of the CUFE's enrollment office, and the teachers of the Business School’senrollment publicity team visited Shaanxi Education and Examination Institute and Gansu Education and Examination Institute, laying a foundation for long-term cooperation and warming up for the college entrance examination and admission in 2024.

On April 25, the enrollment publicity team was invited to participate in the 2024 Gansu Province General College Enrollment Consultation Meeting. At the consultation meeting, the teachers YangZhongying, Yao Xiao and LiuXinfeng further introduced the basic information of Central University of Finance and Economics to the university entrance exam candidates in Gansu and their parents, answered their questions about registration for examination, and built an efficient and smooth information bridge.
On May 13, associate professor ZhangGuanglicarried out an enrollment promotion event in Xi'an, giving a comprehensive introduction to the university’s history, discipline construction, talent training, employment opportunities, campus activities and other aspects.

On June 23 and 24, the college entrance examination results of Shaanxi Province and Gansu Province were successively announced, and the enrollment publicity working group rushed to Xi'an, Lanzhou, andTianshui. At the consultation meeting, the teachers and students of the enrollment publicity team actively promoted and carefully explained the school’s 2024 enrollment policy to thousands of candidates andtheirparents who came for consultation, patiently answered their questions, and helped candidates complete college application. During the consultation process, the teachers and students of the team worked closely to provide explanations and answers for the candidates and their parents in a warm, thoughtful, professional and detailed manner from different perspectives, such as the school’s advantages, policies, majors, previous enrollment condition, and campus experience. Besides, they distributed publicity materials, and guided the candidates to join the QQ groups and add the WeChat Official Account of the Enrollment Office, so as to provide more comprehensive information for the candidates, so that they're affirmed and praised by the candidates and their parents. In order to keep abreast of the candidates' college application condition and better serve the candidates and their parents, for the candidates with high scores who were interested in applying for the university, we issued some peripheral gifts of CUFE and registered their relevant information, called back the candidates and their parents, patiently answered their questions, and enthusiastically mobilized the candidates to apply for the university.
In addition, to ensure the smooth operation of online consultation channels, from June 21 to June 30, the Business School’s four enrollment hotlines had been ringing constantly. Five teachers of the hotline team, i.e. WangYueying, Sun Xiang, ZhaoXun,GaoZhennan and JiYueting, carefully listened to the questions of the candidates and their parents and kept a record of the consultation calls. After the announcement of the results of the college entrance examination, the candidates and their parents continued to ask questions in the QQ consulting group, and the teachers Qi Yu and WangHuiting of the QQ consulting group patiently answered their questions and carefully recorded the information of the candidates.
At present, the Business School’s undergraduate enrollment publicity and counseling work for 2024 has been successfully completed. The work, from early-stage preparation to later-stage presentations, visits and discussions, multi-channel publicity and college enrollment counseling, has lasted for more than half a year, and received careful guidance and strong support from CUFE and the Business School. In the course of enrollment publicity, the Business School provides comprehensive and accurate enrollment information and consulting services to the candidates and their parents througha combination of online and offline methods, and has won the recognition and trust of the candidates and their parents.
