Recently, China Society of Logistics announced the “2022 China Logistics Academic Annual Conference Paper Award List”, and he won the first prize of the Academic Annual Conference Paper Award due to the paper “The Value of Personalized Dispatch in O2O On-demand Delivery Services” co-authored by Dai Hongyan, a teacher from the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management of the Business School, and Tsinghua University.
The “China Logistics Academic Annual Conference” sponsored by China Society of Logistics, which attracts more than 1,000 attendees each year, with more than 1,000 research achievements including research papers and topics, is an annual grand event in China’s logistics field to promote academic exchanges, broaden academic horizons, enhance academic connotation, display research results, and stimulate innovative inspiration. The papers are required to focus on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, build a new development pattern, combine the development practice of logistics and procurement, and highlight the fundamentality, innovation and practicality. The 2022 China Logistics Academic Annual Conference received a total of 1,019 papers. After expert review and online publicity, 459 papers were finally determined to be prize-winning papers, including 10 papers awarded the first prize.
Moreover, Dai Hongyan was awarded the second prize of the 2020 Science and Technology Progress Award of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing due to the “Research Project on Multi-level Supply Chain Inventory Management and Collaborative Management” completed in collaboration with Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University of Technology.
The Science and Technology Progress Award of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing is awarded once a year and aims to vigorously promote the innovation in logistics technologies, in order that China's modern logistics embark on a technology-led and efficient development road which can give full play to the advantages of human resources.
Over the years, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) has been devoted to building platforms, and has been insisting on promoting the integrated development of technological application and logistics, following and supporting the capacity of modern logistics technology for independent innovation, actively guiding enterprises to become key players in technological innovation, and making efforts to explore and promote excellent scientific and technological achievements through the selection of scientific and technological awards and other means. The Science and Technology Progress Award of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing has been widely concerned and recognized in the industry, and has become a landmark award in China’s field of logistics & purchasing and circulation of production materials.
Professor Dai Hongyan has combined machine learning methods with operational management theory, conducted long-term and in-depth research in such fields as data-driven optimization decision-making and the Internet of Things, obtained rich research results, published more than 40 papers, including those published in MS, EJOR, Journal of Management Science and Engineering, Journal of Management Engineering and other domestic and foreign flagship journals, and presided over multiple national, provincial and ministerial-level programs, such as the Training Program of the Major Research Plan of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
