On the afternoon of January 12, 2023, the Business School held the 2023 National-level Project Application Experience Exchange Meeting online. More than 30 teachers and students from the Business School attended this meeting, and deputy dean Yu Guangtao of the Business School presided over the meeting.
The exchange meeting was divided into two sessions: in the first session, the leaders of the projects in previous years were invited to introduce their project application experience, and the second session consisted of Q&As and free talks. In the experience introduction session, professor Lin Song and professor Wang Zhen explained the techniques and precautions for project application from dual angles of project applicants and reviewers. Associate professor Gu Leilei and Dr. Gao Zhennan introduced their thoughts about project application on the basis of their own experiences. After the introduction, the attending teachers asked questions with regard to the problems encountered during their project application, and the relevant presenters answered their questions carefully.
Yu Guangtao, deputy dean of the Business School, summarized the project application experience exchange meeting. He pointed out that, by holding a project application experience exchange meeting, the Business School could enable its teachers and students to have a deeper understanding of the national-level project application and review process, and meanwhile solve the problems encountered in the project application process pointedly. The Business School will hold related activities again in the middle of February 2023, inviting the teachers experienced in project review to help project applicants modify their applications from the perspective of reviewers.
With the guiding ideology of “contributing new management knowledge” and the starting point of “researching Chinese issues and telling Chinese stories”, the Business School’s teachers will focus on important issues in China's economic and social development to carry out research in the field of management actively. Finally, we wish all teachers a successful project application.
