The Business School Hosted a Movie-watching Event to Celebrate the International Women's Day
To better enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the teaching staff and enhance the team cohesion of the School, as well as to create a positive and upward cultural atmosphere within the School, the Trade Union of the Business School held a "3.8 Charming Queen's Day" movie-watching event on the afternoon of March 6, 2024, to celebrate the 114th anniversary of the International Women's Day. The film watched during this event was You Only Live Once, and more than 20 teaching staff participated in the event.
You Only Live Once is a comedy and inspirational film released during the Spring Festival, which narrates the story of an ordinary individual discovering their true self and overcoming her limitations. It also portrays how a weak person learns to establish her own boundaries, standing tall and living authentically despite encountering various injustices! The entire film, with its light-hearted and humorous style, allows viewers to understand the importance of respecting their true inner needs, not giving up on their passions, and staying away from people and things that bring them unhappiness. It also highlights the significance of investing the most in oneself. One thought brings flowers into bloom, another makes them fall. With one thought released, countless freedoms arise.
This event allowed the teaching staff of the School to experience the joy and positive energy brought by a comedy and inspirational film amidst their busy work schedules. It inspired the teaching staff to face the challenges and difficulties in life with courage and confidence, not giving up easily when encountering hardships. This promoted the physical and mental health of the teaching staff while also strengthening the School’s culture and team building, thus contributing to the harmonious development of the School.
