Students from Our School Secured Excellent Outcomes in the Second CMAU National College Student Market Research and Business Planning Competition
On August 26, 2023, the national finals of the CMAU National College Student Market Research and Business Planning Competition took place successfully at the Northeastern University.
All four teams from our school received awards, with the "CMAU Micro-Visit" team, consisting of Wang Jing, Wu Zhi, Zhou Yaqing, Li Linlin, and Lin Yige, and guided by Wang Yi from the Business School, winning the special prize in the national finals. The "Match with Heart" team, consisting of Liu Zhirong, Zhang Shuyue, Zhang Siyang, and Liang Haoyu, guided by Song Chen from the Business School; the "Transcend Self" team, consisting of Zhu Yuanjin, Lu Yuxuan, Wei Xuanyi, Huang Hui, and Li Binghang, guided by Wang Yi; and the "Gryffindor" team, consisting of Song Jiaxuan, Huang Rui, Lin Siyu, Li Yiwen, and Shen Shuqin, guided by Gu Leilei, all received the second prize in the national finals. Moreover, our university was responsible for the specific organizational tasks of the northern region in this competition and received the "Best University Organization Award" and the "Annual Special Contribution Award."
The competition was initiated in May 2023 and featured a corporate proposition, industry expert review, and online defense format. It enabled participating students to gain a profound understanding of the current state and practical demands of the market research industry, and nurtured their technical and practical skills to engage in corporate market research and business planning. More than 20,000 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from over 500 institutions of higher education nationwide registered to participate in the competition, forming over 2,000 teams. Following intense competition, 51 elite teams from institutions of higher education across the country, including Sichuan University, Shandong University, and Dalian University of Technology, participated in the finals.
