On the morning of July 14, 2024, the 2025 CUFE MBA Enrollment Policy Conference and the First Session of “LongmaExperience Camp” was grandly held at No.202 lecture hall of the Academic Hall. The successful holding of this event marks the first solid steptaken by CUFE MBA on the road of cultivating the “Digital Intelligence + Finance” π-type talents with more adaptability in the future.
At the meeting, Professor ZhuFei, deputy director of the MBA Education Center and deputy dean of the Business School of the Central University of Finance and Economics, comprehensively introduced the development history, latest developments and future plan of the CUFE MBA program from a forward-looking perspective. Professor ZhuFeipointed out that the CUFE MBAprogram was deeply rooted in the strong foundation of finance and economics disciplines of the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), and relying on the excellent platform of CUFE as a "Double First-class" and "Project 211" university, the program had gathered high-level industrial ecological resources and realized the full-cycle deep embedding from Pre-MBA to Post-MBA in the cultivation oftalents, aiming to create a group of composite talents who were both industry-knowledgeable and business-knowledgeable, and had high digital intelligence capabilities.
In the face of the economy stepping into the new normal, new technological changes, globalization and reverse globalization, deep changes in the financial industry and the tide of technology entrepreneurship, the CUFE MBA program kept up with the times, and intended to officially launch three cutting-edge major directions in the class of 2025, i.e.LongmaFinancial Leadership, Technological Entrepreneurship and Investment, and Business Computing & Digital Management. The establishment of these three major directions was not only an action to meet the development needs of the CUFE MBA project, but also a positive response to the national development strategy of "Digital China".
LongmaFinancial Leadershipis mainly oriented towards the strategic and in-depth development of finance. It is a high-end class launched by the CUFE MBA program after years of preparation and polishing, featured by a concentrated (five days per month) learning model and taught by "double-qualified teachers". That is to say, top domestic and foreign professors and experienced industry instructors give lessons jointly, helping students achieve a leap forward in financial leadership through high-intensity and efficient learning rhythmand in-depth resource embedding. Through the integration of practical learning, including campus learning, unannounced learning, private advisory board and other forms, students will gain more opportunities to integrate industrial resources and finance, accumulate more experience in operation and management, achieve breakthroughs in the cognition of organizational management, and ultimately become corporate investors who lead the economic development of the industry.
MBA in Technology Entrepreneurship and Investmentmainly responds to the need for talent cultivation in the tide of technology entrepreneurship and brings together the international courses and teachers of Central University of Finance and Economics and University of South Florida. The main teaching language is English. This direction aims at providing an internationalized learning platform for financial elites in the field of technology entrepreneurship and utilizing the strengths of the financial and economic disciplines of the CUFEMBA program to empower technology entrepreneurship and investment. In addition to core basic courses and elective courses of public fundamental, the systematic curriculum system covers six specialized courses such as strategic entrepreneurship, business model innovation and venture capital. Through the integration of practical training modes such as dual-teacher classes, practical curriculum and enterprise study tours, it can help students build a global vision, master systematic knowledge of technology entrepreneurship and investment, and grow into financial experts who are committed to the tide of technology entrepreneurship.
Business Computing and Digital Managementis mainly oriented towards the national strategy of “Digital China”. By utilizing the financial and economic characteristics and advantages of the CUFE MBA project, it can cultivate management elites who can adapt to the digital environment and meet the needs of the times, as well as composite data capitalization elites who combine finance and technology. This direction relies on the superior resources of the Business School and the School of Statistical Mathematics to build a digital management course system with financial characteristics including artificial intelligence and data science, business data analysis and decision-making, data visualization and data insights. Students will master the management skills in the digital environment and become compound talents who master both financial knowledge and data technologies, providing strong support for the digital transformation of enterprises.
