On March 18, 2023, the Business School holds the Opening Ceremony of the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class and the Entrepreneurship Education Seminar. Entrepreneurial mentors of the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class, including Chen Yujie, Sun Fengchuan, Yang Yingbo, Zuo Haiying, Cui Xiaogang, Wang Bin, Chen Ronggen, Xu Qian and Yang Xiaoming, etc., attended this meeting. This meeting was chaired by professor Ge Jianxin from the Business School.
Entrepreneurship Education Seminar Site
At the entrepreneurship education seminar, Song Zhenjun, the first prize winner of the 2013 Beijing College Students Entrepreneurship Design Competition and the chairman of Qinghai Bohui Education Consulting Co., Ltd., first shared his experience of starting a business after graduation. From his dedication to K12 education, corporate business transformation, communication with newcomers in the post-00s to keeping in touch with Yang Xiaoming, the judge of the competition in that year, Song Zhenjun used his own experience to show the contrast between theory and reality faced by college students in entrepreneurship, as well as the key points of entrepreneurship education.
Entrepreneurial mentors conducted lively discussions on the talent cultivation goals, the teaching tasks and the connection between mentors and students of the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class. All of them agreed that the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class should strengthen the education of students in terms of vision and sentiment, entrepreneurial thinking and responsibility, and make full use of the advantages of it location in Zhongguancun to visit more new companies, learn more from entrepreneurs and communicate more with investors. The mentors are willing to pave roads for the growth of students and are confident in creating a unique business card for the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class of Central University of Finance and Economics.
When concluding the meeting, professor Lin Song, dean of the Business School, expressed his gratitude to the entrepreneurial mentors for their support and assistance in the entrepreneurship education at the Business School. He pointed out, “over the years, the entrepreneurial mentors have formed a good interactive relationship with the Business School, which is one of the powerful guarantees for us to do a good job in entrepreneurship education.” The Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class is an upgraded version of Entrepreneurship Education 3.0 of the Business School. The Business School will cherish the dedication and efforts of all teachers and students, and accomplish the mission of educating students in universities. Witnessed by all students in the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class, Professor Lin Song issued appointment letters to entrepreneurial mentors.

The Business School has a solid foundation for the development of entrepreneurship education. In 2004, the Business School established the Entrepreneurship Pioneer Class across all majors in the school. In 2013, the Entrepreneurship Pioneer Class was renamed the Business Leader Training Camp. In 2022, the Business School upgraded the Business Leader Training Camp to the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class.
After continuous construction, the entrepreneurship education of the Business School has formed a series of influential achievements at home and abroad, and has successively won honors such as the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, the Innovative Experimental Zone for Talent Training Models of the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Finance, the KAB Entrepreneurship Education Base for Chinese College Students under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Beijing Excellent Teaching Team, the Model On-Campus Innovation Practice Base for Higher Education Institutions in Beijing, and the Virtual Teaching and Research Office of the Ministry of Education. This seminar is a teaching and research conference convened by the Business School on entrepreneurship education, and opens a new chapter for the Entrepreneurship Management Experimental Class.
