This semester’s Teaching Forum of the Business School of Central University ofFinance and Economics (CUFE) was held at Room A28 of the lecture theater of theMBA Education Center. Zhao Erdong, a famous youth teacher in Beijing, lecturerof the national-level Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) “Management and Communication,”and Professor of the School of Economics and Management, North China ElectricPower University, was invited to deliver a lecture on “How to Design, Build andUse Open Online Courses: A Case Study on a National-Level MOOC” to all facultyof the School.

ProfessorZhao talked about his experience in designing and building the open onlinecourse “Management and Communication” and problems he encountered in the reviewof such courses. He also informed participants of key details of course designand production, and his own design ideas.
