On July 12, 2014, GfKChina General Manager Mr. Zhou Qun and GfKVerein University Corporation Manager Mr. Andreas Neus visited Business School. The Dean of Business School and Director of MBA Education Center Professor Wang Ruihua and the Secretary of General Branch Professor Ge Jianxin welcomed the guests. Teachers from Department of Strategy and Department of Marketing were present. Secretary Ge Jianxin hosted the talk.

Mr. Andreas Neus introduced the history and present situation of GfK Verein, its business scope and the faculty and curriculum arrangement of the Summer School held by GfK Verein and CUFE. He also spoke highly of the information technology hardware construction of Business School.

GfKChina General Manager, Mr. Zhou Qun introduced business development of GfK in China, its key research fields at the present stage and innovative research projects in progress. Mr. Zhou said, as a leading market research company, GfK’s business development and situation has a great effect on the curriculum arrangement and graduates’ employment of its cooperation colleges.

The Dean Wang Ruihua gave a high appraisal to GfK’s achievement in market research and prospected the cooperation between GfK and Business School, CUFE. Professor Wang suggested that the faculty from Department of strategy and Department of Marketing should have more communication with GfK and contributed to science research and school-enterprise cooperation.

The Secretary Ge Jianxin thanked GfK for their support in the education program of Business School and looked forward to a solid step on their cooperation.

At last, teachers from Department of Strategy and Department of Marketing had a positive interaction with GfK visitors, which will help promote the innovative development between CUFE and GfK.
